Outdoor Recreation, Activities, and Events
We host numerous events and activities for you to enjoy.
Our goal is to encourage recreation and stewardship consistent with the protection of natural resources. We hope to share this special area’s scenic views, wildlife and cultural history with you through these activities.
Enjoy Diablo’s parks and wildlife!
- Come on a free guided hike through our annual Discover Diablo free public hikes program.
- Participate in a volunteer workday with the Diablo Restoration Team (DiRT).
- Join us for an adventure while “gently roughing it” on Four Days Diablo, our guided group camping trip.
- Attend our annual gala, Moonlight on the Mountain.
- Obtain our trail map and explore the Diablo wild lands at your own pace.
- Follow along to one of the educational audio/video tours featured by Audible Mount Diablo: Guides to the Outdoors to learn more about Diablo’s natural landscape and its inhabitants.
