It’s easy to become frozen with fear by scary global reports, politcs, election results, man-made and natural disasters–but it’s important to remember that each of us has the power to make a big difference. Each single positive action, in fact, is what it takes to bring about positive change.
We can achive a great deal towards building this momentum for positive change with our collective energy. Contributing doesn’t have to be overwhelming. We can start small and simply resolve to do our part at home in our local communities.
Together, we can create real change by engaging in action at the local level.
So what can you do today?
One way that YOU can contribute and take action in your community today is by supporting your local land conservation organization, Save Mount Diablo.
Land is literally the common ground we all share.
Preserving more land builds and maintains corridors that protect wildlife, produces oxygen, assists in capturing carbon dioxide, and ultimately strengthens our fragile ecosystems which hang in the balance. Let’s not take it for granted.
On #GivingTuesday this year, Save Mount Diablo seeks to raise at least $5,000.

Participating in Giving Tuesday–a global movement–not only provides Save Mount Diablo with needed resources but helps inspire personal philanthropy and encourage charitable giving during the holiday season.
