Help your group give back to their community while protecting Mount Diablo.
Led by Save Mount Diablo’s expert stewardship staff, your group will take pride as they help Save Mount Diablo restore thousands of acres of oak woodlands, savannas, grasslands, and streamside habitats.
Mount Diablo is the greatest natural feature in the East Bay, and you can help improve and protect its essential habitats for wildlife and native plants.
- Our staff will lead you in planting native trees and bunchgrasses, protecting tree seedlings, weeding to help native plants thrive, trash removal, or trail work.
- These workdays take place in beautiful natural settings spread out across Mount Diablo’s foothills. Get started by filling out our group workday interest form.
- Workdays are three hours long and can be scheduled from Wednesday through Saturday, and our restoration sites are located in Clayton, Concord, and Pittsburg. All tools, equipment, and instruction are provided.
For questions or more information regarding group workdays, please contact us at groupvolunteers@savemountdiablo.org or 925-947-3535.
