Mount Diablo’s two peaks rise above us as we climb Shell Ridge via a gentle switchback, hike that ridge and the next, then descend and complete our loop via the shady, tranquil Indian Creek trail. The loop includes easy and moderate stretches in approximately equal portions.
Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.
Street parking available. No restrooms.
Participants will also be required to accept our COVID-19 Protocol (available during registration).
