Twin Ponds Loop Hike

September 11, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

All Discover Diablo hikes are subject to, and will honor, all applicable COVID-19–related restrictions in place for our area.

About this event

Though largely dry in September, this lovely, winding creek drainage and its ponds continue to provide moisture and shade. This hike in the Walnut Creek Open Space borders Foothills Regional Park, and we’ll take a brief detour for a glimpse of Mount Diablo, which rises above both.

Be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.

This hike is limited to 25 participants. All participants must bring a mask and stay 6ft apart. Hand sanitizer will be available at the hike (although this may change by September).

Participants will also be required to accept our COVID-19 Protocol (available during registration).
