Join us for a nature adventure on the east side of Mount Diablo.

Join us for a nature adventure on the east side of Mount Diablo. We’ll view mysterious volcanic domes, search for early spring wildflowers, and relate tales of the odd characters who once populated the canyon, including a circus clown turned mercury miner and a cowboy in a derby hat. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.
