Come celebrate all mothers around the world by hiking the gorgeous green hills at Round Valley Regional Preserve on the eastern slopes of Mount Diablo. Round Valley naturally attracts predators including badgers, bobcats, golden eagles, and mountain lions. Bring your mom out for a leisurely stroll along Round Valley Creek and experience one of the most scenic valleys in the east bay, a true jewel. There are restrooms and a picnic area at the staging area.
Be sure to bring a mask, plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.
Participants will be required to accept our COVID-19 Protocol (available during registration).
