Though largely dry in autumn, this lovely, winding creek drainage and its ponds continue to provide some moisture and shade. This hike in the Walnut Creek Open Space borders Diablo Foothills Regional Park, and we’ll take a brief detour for a glimpse of Mount Diablo, which rises above both.
Be sure to bring a mask, plenty of water, a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.
Participants will be required to accept our COVID-19 Protocol (available during registration).
This event is limited to 20 participants.
