On June 9, 2026, we provided testimony in support of Assembly Concurrent Resolution 107 (ACR 107), our Diablo Range Resolution, to the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee, and thereafter, they approved it!
ACR 107 recognizes the Diablo Range as an official California conservation priority critical to helping the state meet its 30×30 initiative to address the climate crisis.
Last year, Save Mount Diablo sponsored ACR 107, authored by Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, and it was approved by the Assembly on September 13, 2025.
With the recent approval by the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee, our Diablo Range Resolution will now go to the California Senate for a vote in the near future.
We are grateful for the continued progress of our Diablo Range Resolution, and we thank the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee, author Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan, the Assembly, our small Save Mount Diablo team working on this, and everyone who has been supporting us!
